Dear Human Heart.

I write this letter with a genuine heart, and with the sentiments of hope, I lay bare the hopes of a man that’s willing to share his dreams and desires for the future.

I’m in search of one of the world’s most sought after secrets. I would like to correspond with someone such as yourself, I’d really enjoy conversing! Even though writing is quickly becoming an ancient art form, along with the world’s most sought after secret (happiness).

Since I’ve been incarcerated I’ve continued to seek a higher education, at night I’m a facilitator with several self-help groups, and on the weekend I’m usually working on my physical build, during the week it’s mental, and on the weekend it’s physical, I find myself trying to stay as busy as I can.

Even though I’m soon to be released I’m not naive! I realize that I’m not in a position to offer you diamonds and pearls, or lavish trips around the world, but what I will offer you is a genuine conversation, look at it like this, I’ll always be available, I won’t be that guy that’s always too busy to listen to you, I’m like a friend that will be here for you 24/7, kind of like a captured audience (smile).

I hope you, the reader, will be willing to step out of your comfort zone, life is too short to be guided by something or someone. Have you ever thought about living as “you” see fit? This is just my personal belief, destiny isn’t defined by what is seen, it’s the unseen, the immeasurable journeys. So regardless the situation or my circumstance, judge not by my situation, but by the contents of my heart and my character. “The” true measure of what is, and what can be, can only be measured by taking the first step. Living as we see fit, and stepping out of the box. I would be indebted to you, I realize that after being absent for so many years that I’ll have to ease my way back into the ways of society. It’s been a while since I’ve had the pleasure of writing. I would love for someone to shed a little light on these gray walls. I live in the Bay Area. I’m 6’3″ in height, I’m creative and black, I weigh 200 pounds. I love to write poems, hopefully I can share one with you! I’ve always loved animals, I’d love to breed shepherd, I’m an avid reader of a good mystery books. When I was younger I wanted to travel, I use to lay on the grass as a child, and wonder if the same pattern of clouds and stars were the same everywhere but some unfortunate event started to take place. I wrote this poem called Through The Eyes of a Child, I hope I can share it with you… Today I’m excited! (Writing this intro) my personality is like a hamster today.

Even though I have much more to say I’d need an ocean full of ink.
