Prison is a very lonely place. Anything other than anger or aggression is not accepted. Much of my time while incarcerated, I have found it difficult to relate to those around me. It makes my time very hard having to wake up and put on a mask just to make it through my day. I am looking for someone I can show my true character, who can look away from what I once was, but to what I have become.
I have a gentle soul who always seeks the good out in people. Many times this has come back to haunt me, but I still continue with many scars to look for the good through the bad.
I came out to my family in 2011. This took a lot of courage because I assumed the worst. I was relieved to know that no matter what I did there was unconditional love amongst them.
I enjoy the company of friends and loved ones. I am just as happy having a cup of coffee as walking down the beach so long as it’s in company of a lover. I don’t really have a perfect date, but it could be as simple as curled up on a couch watching a movie.
I enjoy movies, art and anything to do with the outdoors.
